Book Your Mulching

Healthy gardens need mulch, it's that simple. Mulch provides nutrition, protects against extreme temperatures, retains moisture and protects against weeds.

Tea Tree

Tea tree mulch is one our favourite gardens mulches. Its brown texture highlighted by the small brown logs sets a great contrast to your garden bed, linings and hard surfaces. With excellent water retention properties, Tea Tree mulch also has excellent water penetration without water draw, which reduces watering requirements for your garden.

With an average life of around a year, Tea tree breaks down quickly releasing nutrients into the garden bed which means less fertilising and lush growth in your gardens.

The oils found in Tea tree mulch give off a refreshing perfume and have a repellent effect on insects which not only makes your garden termite resistent but also means fewer flying nasties buzzing around in your garden.

When you engage our quality mulching services we ensure the proper thickness of Tea Tree mulch is measured, spread and patted down for a smooth consistent look over your entire garden.

Red Cypress Chip

Red Cypress chips can really make your garden pop and can make a massive difference to gardens with plants that are established, have less dense foliage, little to no flowers and a lower population of plants. The brilliant red stain of Red Cypress brings out the beaufitul green hues and darker tones of subtropicals such as Clivias, Bromliads and Agaves and even the most simple garden can be transformed using this eye popping little chip.

Red Cypress is mostly suited for visual aesthetics whilst still retaining good water retention and thermal protection properties and as such Cypress chips have a higher coverage per qubic metre than other mulches such as Hoop Pine and Tea Tree.

Yellow Cypress Chip

For a more natural look, Yellow Cypress chips bring a sense of relaxation and peace to your garden and is especially suited to low light areas and gardens with plenty of shade. Because of the more natural coloured stain Yellow Cypress has the effect of 'lasting' longer than its Red brother and requires less upkeep to maintain a tidy garden outlook.

Like its Red brother Yellow Cypress chips are ideally suited to visual aesthetics and areas where nutrition isn't such a concern. Cypress chips are naturally termite resistant which makes it ideal to put over gardens adjacent to structures such as houses and car ports, or in areas which might naturally attract termintes and insects.

Hoop Pine

A popular choice in windy areas and where the landscape has an inclination, Hoop pine bark's brown colouring with characteristic curly strips provide good water retention, nutrition and heat protection for your garden.. Hoop Bark breaks down in about year providing nutrition for plants to flourish, making it ideal for new and low maintenance gardens.

Like its Red brother Yellow Cypress chips are ideally suited to visual aesthetics and areas where nutrition isn't such a concern. Cypress chips are naturally termite resistant which makes it ideal to put over gardens adjacent to structures such as houses and car ports.
